'Archie' had the Vet on Tuesday couldn't put weigh on his leg, so we didn't turn him out with are other horse 'Sevi'. 'Archie' doesn't do box rest ! So we gave him tons of hay etc...the vet arrived later in the day, so 'Archie had been in for hours & 'Sevi' had been calling him all day. The vet asked Janet to trot him away & back to her, Janet said to the Vet are you sure if we trot, he's just going to take me to the field ! No no said the vet just trot him up! so with that off they both went & Archie turn right past the barn & cantered straight up to his field. Leaving Janet & Carol laughing, Vet didn't see the funny side...but did eventually crack into laughter...i was so pleased Archie was ok & Janet didn't try & hang onto him.
